Dr. William H. Tettelbach is a physician leader, researcher, and advocate focused on evidence-based, patient-centered care across wound healing and hyperbaric medicine. Board-certified in Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Internal Medicine, he holds academic appointments at Duke University School of Medicine and Western University of Health Sciences. As Chief Medical Officer at RestorixHealth, he oversees clinical quality and practice standards across a national network of hospital-affiliated outpatient wound and hyperbaric centers. He has led and supported national advocacy and policy efforts aimed at protecting Medicare beneficiary access to medically necessary hyperbaric oxygen therapy and advanced wound care. Previously, he served as Program Director of the Duke University Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Fellowship, mentoring physicians in training and contributing to clinical scholarship. Internationally recognized for integrating real-world evidence, outcomes research, and health economics into practical policy solutions, he has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed analyses and consensus work addressing advanced wound therapies and sustainable reimbursement models.
