Melanie Schwiesow was born in Michigan. She went to the University of Michigan for undergraduate education, Saint Louis University for medical school, and Louisiana State University for vascular residency. She has been in practice since 2019 and back in St Louis since 2023. She enjoys all aspects of vascular surgery, but peripheral vascular disease and limb salvage are of special importance to her
